By Metro

St. Patrick is located one block from both "Metro Center" and "Gallery Place-Chinatown" Metro stations. Exit Metro Center at 11th Street or Gallery Place at 9th Street.

 

Parking

Parking is available in the Atlantic Garage, 10th Street next door to the church between F and G Streets.

The Chinese Room

 

Marcus and Tiffany will host a tea ceremony in the Chinese room to honor and celebrate the union of their families. 

 

Please note that this event will be a private family function. 

Non-family guests are welcome to go directly to the Cocktail Hour at 5:00 pm following the Wedding Ceremony.

History of the Mayflower - Fun Facts

 

  • The site of President Calvin Coolidge's 1925 charity inaugural ball. The Grand Ballroom continues to be a popular site for inaugural events, earning it the title "The Inaugural Ball Hotel"

 

  • Franklin D. Roosevelt, in room 776, on the eve of his inaugural address, penned one of the most famous lines in US political history - "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." 

 

  • The GI bill was drafted on hotel letterhead in room 570 in 1943.

 

  • The hotel has been host to many international events including the historic state dinner in honor of the signing of the Arab-Israel Peace Treaty of 1979.
